It is not necessary to first uninstall. Muzikbrowzer requires Windows Media Player 9 or later. This release has been tested on Windows XP only. My laptop died and I haven't yet tested on Windows 2000. If you install/run Muzikbrowzer on Windows 2000 please let me know. I also don't yet have a copy of Windows Vista, so let me know your results with it.
